Mango Tart

Mangoes. Gorgeous. I like almost everything flavored with the fruit, but I think they're best unadulterated. So with a Mango Tart like this, with not much adornment, the taste of the fresh fruit can really shine through. I really like it; it's very easy and quick to make, depending on the amount of time you want to spend arranging the mango slices prettily. The base of the tart is made using a frozen puff pastry sheet, which just bakes in the oven for a few minutes. The cream between the pastry and the mangoes is a mixture of whipped cream cheese, sour cream, a bit of sugar, and lime zest. It's really yummy and delicious! I'd like to have some now if I could! ;)

Finally, I've caught up with all my cooking posts! (^__^)
